• PALS
• CA License
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Preferred, not required for just ER placements)
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (Required for Respiratory Therapy and NICU)
• CHEMO - Chemotherapy (required for Hemotology/Oncology)

  • THIS IS A CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL POSITION - PEDIATRIC ICU EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested
  • Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity
  • Experience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG
  • Patient Population: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, neurosurgery. Trauma, hem onc, DKA if PH or altered consciousness
    • Job Requirements
    • CA License
    • First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED
    • 2 full recent years of Pediatric ICU experience (PICU, CTICU, CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL)
    • for travelers with PICU exp - 15 bed minimum and higher acuity of care across ALL PICU/ICU areas
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12 variable or straight night
      • 4-5 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5-6 shifts of fri-sat nights - traveler gets off one full weekend every 4 week schedule
      • 13 week contracts
      • Max 6 days RTO (Must still get 3 shifts in per week)
