• Different certifications are required or preferred for specific units and roles within the Rady Childrens Hospital San Diego system. For example, ACLS for ER placements, PALS required except for certain units, Chemo Certification (APHON) required for Hematology/Oncology, etc.

  • Unit Summary: Hematology Inpatient 38 beds, BMT/Blood Cell transplantation/neuroblastoma/anemia/leukemia/lymphoma/solid tumor/hemophilia/ITP/sickle cell anemia/other hemoglobinopathies, IV therapy/sedation procedures/post ops/central lines/Hickman's/porta catheters/blood products/chemotherapeutic agents

    • CA RN license
    • APHON
    • BLS
    • PALS
    • Will accept first-time traveler with strong experience
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12 Nights (1900-0700)
      • 4-weekend shifts per 4-week period (scheduled Friday and Saturday for night shift)
      • RTO: No more than 6 days can be submitted. Must be available to work holidays
